Living with ADHD as an adult
Describing living with ADHD in a television interview, the musician Shaun Ryder said it was like having “a box of frogs" in his head. My husband was diagnosed with ADHD some years ago, and he agrees. He describes it as never being able to turn off, like having dozens of windows open in a browser simultaneously and them all playing something different. Choosing what to eat, planning, shopping, and cooking can be a huge challenge with all that background noise.
This section will include some facts about ADHD, how nutrition can help, and practical guidelines on how to plan, cook, and eat well. Each section will start with a summary of all the information on that page, so you don't have to read the whole thing to get the point. Details and evidence are included for those of you that want them (and can face reading that far!).
